Regarding the cultural realm, build a world that is based on respecting
diversity:
a) Promote cultural complementation through intercultural actions to confront
globalization processes, to address the processes of globalization,
establishing a vision that respects and recognizes the rights of all forms of
life for all beings created by Mother Earth.
9. Regarding science and technology, build a world based on:
a) Bringing an end to science and technology as instruments of power for
capitalism and in turn, rooting them on the philosophy of life and peace;
orienting them to serve the needs of the people, to cure disease, restore,
regenerate and decontaminate nature and produce clean energy, accessible
to developing countries and their peoples.
b) Build convergence between modern science and ancient knowledge of the
peoples and communities, strengthening a dialogue of knowledge.
10. Regarding food production, strengthen healthy eating while maintaining
their nutritional and cultural value
a) Promoting family and communal agriculture, as well as conventional,
organic and ecological production as a source of food supply for the people.
b) Eliminating monopolies and oligopolies of agricultural inputs.
c) Protecting species’ diversity and food production varieties’, cultural
productive practices of people and of communities and small producers.
d) Strengthening rural and urban production systems, promoting
comprehensive development by improving marketing channels, seeking a
balance between city and rural relations.
e) Recovering degraded, decertified and deforested areas for agricultural and
forestry production, promoting forestation and reforestation.
f) Preserving productive lands and their productive capabilities from
urbanization processes.
