peoples, governments, international organisms, and the United Nations, as well
as all human beings must construct a revolution of peace and life through the
following actions:

1. Regarding the environmental realm, to save Mother Earth:

a) Avoiding, through coordinated actions, a global temperature increase beyond
one degree Celsius on the basis of common but differentiated responsibilities
as well as historical responsibilities. To this end:

 The essential task at hand to resolve the climate crisis is the eradication of
the capitalist system. In this sense, the countries with the greatest
historical responsibilities in the destruction of the planet must reduce their
greenhouse gas emissions drastically through binding commitments
subject to monitoring, review and verification, on the premise of
environmental justice, without the use of carbon markets.

 Developed countries that are responsible for climate change must pay their
climatic debt by transferring technology and fund developing countries from
their public resources, without delegating their financial responsibilities to
credit banks, insurance and risk markets and/or technology markets,
allowing developed countries to implement actions towards climate
adaptation and mitigation.

b) Adopting the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Earth as
fundamental rights which must contain the following:

 The Right to the diversity of life that implies the preservation of the
differences and varieties of the beings that make up Mother Earth, without
being genetically modified in their structure through artificial means,
avoiding a threat to their existence, functions and future potential.

 The right to water that expresses through the preservation of the water
cycle, of its existence, of its quality and quantity, necessary for the
sustenance of the systems of life and its protection from pollutants for the
reproduction of it and the components of Mother Earth.

 The right to restoration and regeneration must be expressed through the
opportune and effective restoration of the affected systems of life affected
by human activities, directly or indirectly and the strengthening of the
environmental functions that allow the reconstitution of the ecosystem.

 The right to live free of contamination, that involves the preservation of
Mother Earth from contamination in all of her components, as well as
