P. 8
The expansionists empires created destructive forces breaking the balance of
the world. In this sense, the peoples that have been invaded and colonized
have been seen as barbaric, soulless, ignorant, uncivilized, and their systems
of life and governance have been tried arrogantly with the standards of
western, colonial, patriarchal democracy that have drawn and undrawn
territories in benefit of the usurpers of wealth.
The dictatorship of money and markets use as pretext freedom, democracy,
and human rights, to destroy peoples and subject them to the culture of
destruction.
One of the manifestations of this intolerant, thoughtless and destructive
civilization, which is undoubtedly the civilization of death, is the climate crisis.
With the capitalist system we will not able to stop the temperature increase
because:
- The Markets and the free enterprise, the ethics, the solidarity and the
lucrative anxiety are dominated by capitalism and bear no commitment
towards life or human beings.
- Individualism invades the hearts and the minds of the people, promoting
the new dominating world order consistent with the markets that oppress
and enslave us.
Today, with less than a 1 degree Celsius rise the impacts are devastating.
Millions of hectares of fertile land, wild life and agricultural diversity are lost
each year, millions of people starve to death and millions more are victims to
water related diseases.
If we do not take immediate action in the near future we will live in a world
devastated and destroyed by the world capitalist system, cataclysms, darkness
and death will abound. The expressions will be the following:
Regarding the environment and Mother Earth
1. A world with energetic insufficiencies, absence of water, lack of food and life.
A world where glaciers and the poles will have melted away and many islands
will have disappeared. A world ravaged by natural disasters, catastrophes,
floods and droughts, typhoons and hurricanes, where forests and agricultural
fields will have turn into deserts. The richness and diversity of nature will have
been replaced by a mercantilist technology; everything will be artificial, virtual,
