distinctions between developed and developing countries, but between those
countries resistant to the climatic cataclysm thanks to their development and
technology, and among agonizing countries that survive the climate crisis in
the midst of famine and poverty.
In the political realm
5. A world where many rulers will be divorced from their people along lofty
hierarchies, oligarchies and monarchies that subjugate and restrict the
political self-determination of their people, becoming mere puppets of
transnationals. A world where most countries are not ruled by the people but
by transnationals, promoting business with climate change, and profiting at
the expense of misery, immersed in corruption and lies.
Regarding the moral realm
6. A world where people will be valued for their condition as customers and their
buying capacity, where family and community ties are replaced by
commercial ties. A world where the moral of the market and the ethics of
competition rules. A world where the heroes are successful millionaires who
flaunt wealth, luxury and jewelry, where the light of humbleness, simplicity,
solidarity and love will be extinct forever. A world were fascism, racism,
violence and discrimination in all its forms, gender, generation, race as well
as the discrimination of the poor, human trafficking and the commodification
of life will have been enhanced.
Regarding the cultural and spiritual realm
7. A world where capitalism will continue to promote war to expand its economic
interests by force. Intransigence and intolerance will be fed by competition. A
world with more religions but with a greater spiritual void, with more
communications and virtual networks but more divided, individualistic and of
lonely beings, a more globalized world but more fragmented and confronted.
Regarding knowledge and technology
8. A world dominated by machines and the technology of selfishness, where
humans will have lost our self-determination. We will live condemned to
